Personal Data may be freely provided by the User or, in case of Usage Data, automatically collected during the use of degg.it.
Unless otherwise specified, all the Data requested by degg.it are mandatory. If the User refuses to provide such Data, it may be impossible for degg.it to provide the Service. In the cases where degg.it indicates some Data as optional, the Users are free to refrain from communicating such Data, without this having any consequence on the availability of the Service or its operation.

Legal basis of the processing
The Data Controller processes Personal Data relating to the User where one of the following conditions exists
the User has given consent for one or more specific purposes; Note: in some jurisdictions, the Controller may be authorised to process Personal Data without the User's consent or another of the legal bases specified below, until the User objects (‘opts-out’) to such processing. However, it is always possible to request the Controller to clarify the concrete legal basis of each processing and in particular to specify whether the processing is based on law, required by a contract or necessary to conclude a contract.

Storage period
Data are processed and stored for the time required by the purposes for which they were collected.
Therefore:
Personal Data collected for purposes related to the performance of a contract between the Controller and the User will be retained until the performance of such contract is completed.
Personal Data collected for purposes related to the legitimate interest of the Controller will be retained until such interest is satisfied. The User may obtain further information regarding the legitimate interest pursued by the Controller in the relevant sections of this document or by contacting the Controller.
When the processing is based on the User's consent, the Data Controller may keep the Personal Data longer until such consent is revoked. Moreover, the Controller may be obliged to keep the Personal Data for a longer period in compliance with a legal obligation or by order of an authority.
At the end of the retention period the Personal Data will be deleted. Therefore, at the end of this period, the right of access, cancellation, rectification and the right to Data portability can no longer be exercised.

The User's Data are collected to enable the Data Controller to provide the Service, to comply with legal obligations, to respond to requests or enforcement actions, to protect its rights and interests (or those of Users or third parties), to detect any malicious or fraudulent activities, as well as for the following purposes: Traffic optimization and distribution, Statistics, Display of content from external platforms, Tag management, User database management and Heat mapping and session recording.

Personal Data is collected for the following purposes and using the following services:
User database management
This type of services allow the Owner to build user profiles starting from an email address, name or any other information the User provides to degg.it, as well as to track the User's activities through statistical features. This Personal Data may also be cross-referenced with publicly available information about the User (such as social network profiles) and used to build private profiles that the Data Controller can view and use to improve degg.it.
Some of these services may also allow for the scheduled sending of messages to the User, such as emails based on specific actions taken on degg.it.

HubSpot CRM is a User database management service provided by HubSpot, Inc.

Heat mapping and session recording
Heat mapping services are used to identify the areas of degg.it with which Users interact most frequently, in order to detect which of them attract the greatest interest. These services make it possible to monitor and analyse traffic data and are used to track User behaviour.
Some of these services may record sessions and make them available for later viewing.
Hotjar Heat Maps & Recordings (Hotjar Ltd.)
Hotjar is a heat mapping and session recording service provided by Hotjar Ltd.
Hotjar respects generic ‘Do Not Track’ headers. This means that the browser can instruct the script not to collect any user data. This is a setting that is available in all major browsers. More information on opting out of Hotjar is available here.

Traffic optimisation and distribution
This type of services allows degg.it to distribute its content through servers located throughout the territory and to optimize its performance.
The Personal Data processed depend on the features and the way these services are implemented, which by their nature filter communications between degg.it and the User's browser.
Given the distributed nature of this system, it is difficult to determine the places to which content is transferred, which may contain the User's Personal Data.
Cloudflare (Cloudflare Inc.)
Cloudflare is a traffic optimisation and distribution service provided by Cloudflare Inc.
The way Cloudflare is integrated means that it filters all degg.it traffic, i.e. communications between degg.it and the User's browser, and also allows the collection of statistical data about it.

The services contained in this section allow the Data Controller to monitor and analyse traffic data and serve to keep track of the User's behaviour.
Google Analytics with anonymized IP (Google Ireland Limited)
Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google Ireland Limited (‘Google’). Google uses the Personal Data collected in order to track and examine the use of degg.it, compile reports and share them with other services developed by Google.
Google may use Personal Data to contextualise and personalise ads in its advertising network.
This Google Analytics integration anonymises your IP address. The anonymisation works by shortening the IP address of Users within the borders of the member states of the European Union or in other countries which are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the IP address be sent to Google's servers and abbreviated within the United States.

LinkedIn Conversion Tracking (LinkedIn Insight Tag) is a statistical and behavioural targeting service provided by LinkedIn Corporation that links data from the LinkedIn ad network with actions taken within degg.it. The LinkedIn Insight Tag tracks conversions that can be attributed to LinkedIn ads and allows targeting groups of Users based on their previous use of degg.it.
Users can opt-out of behavioural advertising features through their device settings, their LinkedIn account settings or by visiting the AdChoices opt-out page.

However, this type of service may collect data on web traffic related to the pages where the service is installed, even when users do not use it.

If the changes affect processing whose legal basis is consent, the Controller will collect the User's consent again, if necessary.
